SPAIN, Valencia, 20 Feb
To sum up what’s happening in Valencia: it all started last wednesday 15th, when riot police attacked a bunch of teenagers who were protesting at their high school front door. The reason for their protest was that, because of cuts, the school doesn’t have money to pay for the heating, they’re cold and need to take blankets to classrooms. Those teenagers came back on the following days and the conflict is scaling. Protests have spread in Valencia and tomorrow are likely to happen in schools and universities in more cities in Spain (all across last year’s 15M & square camping networks).
